Kids in Motion takes pride in providing the most affordable and highest quality experience possible for involved families.
We partner with the parents in our school, and we ask our families to participate in school events and volunteer opportunities. Our school year goes from August through May, and our sister company – SSB Kids – offers a Day Camp during breaks.

Early Learning Center + Elementary
Infants/Toddlers
Our nursery and toddler program provides a safe and fun learning environment for our littlest friends ages six weeks to 1 year old. Students will explore the world around them in our sensory rich, developmentally appropriate classrooms all while developing the basis for a life long love of learning! Our teachers know how vital this time in a child’s life is to long-term development, and they take pride helping their students hit all of those wonderful developmental milestones!
Preschool
The Kids in Motion Academy preschool program is perfect for students who are two and three years old. Our hands-on active learning style is perfect for your on-the-go preschooler! Preschool at Kids in Motion Academy offers a unique approach to academic readiness that combines teacher-directed learning opportunities in small groups with child-led exploration, helping establish the best possible foundation for future academic success. Our classroom teachers are certified and equipped to challenge your child as they learn and grow with us!
Pre-K
Our Pre-K program is the perfect place for students who are four by September 1st! Our five day/week program completely prepares students for Kindergarten-readiness. Active learning is a huge part of our classroom environment in combination with daily rotations and teacher-led small group instruction. Our Pre-K students enjoy specials like gymnastics, fine arts, technology, and Spanish in addition to Math, literacy, and themed classroom instruction.
Elementary
Kids in Motion Academy is proud to offer a full elementary experience for kindergarten and 1st grade! We are committed to helping our students reach their goals of academic excellence by engaging both their body and their mind. Our students will enjoy the benefit of smaller class sizes capped at 16 affording them small group instruction. We enjoy our daily specials which include Spanish, fine arts, technology, P.E., and gymnastics as a part of enriching our students in body and mind. Our elementary teaching team is excited to provide an education full of active learning and academic excellence!

Extra-Curricular Programs
P.E./Gymnastics
Gymnastics instruction from our USAG certified SSB Kids coaches with years of expertise coaching skills at the precise levels of our KIM students. P.E. time teaches students basic skills in a wide variety of sports!
STEM
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics. Research shows that students who are engaged with STEM education can creatively solve problems in positive collaboration with their peers. When we break that down into the education of a child, the subjects of STEM allow us to support resiliency, creativity, and critical thinking skills within the safety of a dedicated classroom.
Art
Art education refers to learning instruction and programming based upon visual and tangible arts. It involves drawing, painting, sculpture, design work, etc. We have art at Kids In Motion Academy because in our art, we have the opportunity to reflect ourselves and our culture. It helps students work better with skills like problem solving and even emotional regulation.

Are you a faith-based school?Yes – we are a Christian private school, but we are not associated with any particular church. Our students and staff come from all different church backgrounds, and we focus on memory verses, Bible stories, and character traits.

When can I enroll my child?We are currently offering open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. Classrooms with openings: Nursery Toddlers Preschool Pre-K Kindergarten First Grade

Does your school offer before and after care?Our onsite before and after care program through SSB Kids is called Kids Fit. Drop off begins at 7:15am, and all students must be picked up by 6pm.

How many kids per class?PreK and under ratios are mandated by DHS, and our elementary classes cap at 16.

When does the school day start?Nursery - Pre-K begins at 8:20am. K - 1st begins at 7:55 am. Before and after care available 7:15am - 6pm.
